Go to the Sentinel parked just outside of the warehouse (to the left). Pick off the thugs who are guarding Lance, then move over to Lance and touch him and he'll follow you. If you still have more work to do, you can grab the Shotgun in the back. When he falls, move to the opening of the warehouse. As you get closer to Lance, concentrate on the dude atop the crane. Once you get out, grab the Uzis and use them to take care of what's left, ducking behind machinery and piles of garbage for cover as you make your way through the dump. If need be, get into the second Sentinel in here and use it to finish up.
The thugs in this area have great weapons, so it won't take much for them to chew through your car and have it flaming. Then continue to use your car to run over anyone in the compound you can get to. Go in gingerly and run guys over with the car. Don't floor it going into the roadblock ahead. Once you get there, you'll find that the junkyard is heavily fortified.
Stop at the shantyville nearby (a group of shacks to the northeast) to pick up an assault rifle. On the big island, head toward the pink dot. Get in one and head across the long bridge that crosses Leaf Links. Get in a fast car-there's often a Stinger or Sentinel in the vacant parking lot two doors down.
